Ann’s journey in dentistry began back in 1985 as a part-time dental assistant. Just a few years later, in 1988, she became a registered dental hygienist—and she’s been making patients smile ever since. We’ve been lucky to have Ann as part of the Culp Dental family since 1993, and her positive energy is just as strong today as it was on day one.

Ann was drawn to dentistry because she’s always loved working with people and knew she wanted to be part of the healthcare world. Over the years, she’s created a safe, welcoming space for her patients—one where they know they’ll be treated with kindness, compassion, and zero judgment. Making someone feel good about their smile (and themselves) is what she loves most about her job.

Her teammates say it best when they describe Ann as genuine, informative, hardworking, and dedicated. She’s also known for being caring, witty, compassionate, and nurturing, with a warm, approachable personality that instantly puts others at ease. Since 2005, Wendy has been the kind of teammate every dental office dreams of—steady, skilled, and simply irreplaceable. Drawn to the world of science and healthcare from a young age, Wendy found her perfect match in dental hygiene. She loves working with her hands and has a true gift for helping people feel more confident—not just in their smiles, but in their overall well-being.

Ask Wendy what she loves most about being a hygienist, and she’ll tell you it’s the long-term relationships she’s built with her patients. Watching their health improve and being part of their journey is what fills her cup.

Around the office, we describe Wendy as: reliable, efficient, hardworking, and caring. But that’s just the beginning. She’s also understanding, professional, dependable, patient, calming, encouraging, humble, organized, spiritual, clever, unselfish, and always up for lending a hand (or a listening ear). Basically, she’s the kind of coworker that makes every day better.

Outside the office, Wendy is all about the outdoors. Whether she’s soaking up the sun on the lake or going horseback riding, nature is her happy place.

Sarai’s path into dentistry began with encouragement from her family—and from the very first day on the job, she knew she had found her calling. She officially began her dental career in 2013, became a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2017, and joined the Culp Dental team in 2018. Ever since, she’s been lighting up our office with her passion for people and her love of learning.

Sarai finds the dental field both interesting and fun, and it shows in the way she cares for her patients. She’s especially drawn to the close-knit environment at Culp Dental, where coworkers feel like family and every patient is treated with warmth and respect. For Sarai, it’s not just about clean teeth—it’s about meaningful connections.

Her teammates describe her as educational, inviting, and kind, always taking time to explain, support, and encourage. She’s also known for being courteous, thorough, and friendly, with a charismatic and inclusive presence that puts everyone at ease. Katie’s journey in dentistry began as a Dental Assistant, but it didn’t take long before she realized she wanted more—more learning, more challenge, and more ways to help people. That passion led her to become a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2019, and we’ve been lucky to have her at Culp Dental since 2021.

For Katie, dentistry is about more than cleanings and checkups—it’s about connection. She genuinely loves getting to know her patients and strives to make a lasting, positive impact at every visit. Her friendly, approachable nature puts even the most nervous patients at ease.

If you ask her teammates to describe her, you’ll hear words like personable, caring, dependable, and thorough. But the list doesn’t stop there—Katie is also compassionate, gentle, cheerful, sweet, considerate, honest, loyal, efficient, supportive, encouraging, kind, engaging, and always committed. Basically, she’s a ray of sunshine with a scaler in hand.

Outside the office, Katie is always on the move. A former college soccer player (yes, she’s got skills!), she now channels that energy into exploring the outdoors, traveling, and spending quality time with her family—and her three adorable Boykin Spaniels, who definitely keep her on her toes.

From clinical care to kindhearted conversation, Katie brings her all to everything she does—and we’re so glad she brings it here.

Macie’s love for dentistry runs deep—it’s in her DNA! Growing up with a mom who worked as an orthodontic assistant for over 30 years, Macie spent her childhood helping out in the office, filing charts and soaking in the world of smiles. Inspired by her mom’s dedication and care, she knew early on that dental hygiene was her path.

Macie officially began her career in dentistry in 2014 and joined the Culp Dental team in 2022. From day one, she’s brought compassion, warmth, and a personal touch to every patient she sees. For Macie, it’s all about building genuine connections and helping patients reach their health goals with confidence and comfort.

Her teammates describe her as consistent, knowledgeable, and thorough—a true professional who brings both heart and insight to her work. She’s also known for being caring, efficient, friendly, and gentle, with a warm and genuine presence that instantly puts others at ease. Add to that her bold spirit, cheerful attitude, empathetic nature, and strategic thinking, and it’s no wonder patients and coworkers alike feel lucky to be around her.

Outside the office, life for Macie is full—and we mean full! She’s a proud mom of three girls and loves sneaking away on long weekend getaways with her family. When she finds time to recharge, you’ll likely catch her with a book in hand, watching a documentary, grabbing coffee with friends, or enjoying a well-earned girl’s night out (sweets included, of course!).

Samantha joined Culp Dental in February 2026, bringing with her nearly two decades of experience as a dental hygienist since 2008. With her mother serving as a dental assistant for many years, Samantha was introduced to dentistry early on cultivating a passion for patient care that comes naturally.

She is dedicated to helping patients achieve and maintain healthy smiles, combining her clinical skill with a gentle, patient-focused approach. Samantha is especially passionate about educating and encouraging her patients, empowering them to feel confident in their oral health and overall well-being.

Her coworkers describe her as kind, experienced, and a true joy to be around. She brings a calming, uplifting presence to the office, creating an environment where patients feel comfortable, cared for, and supported.

Outside of the office, Samantha enjoys spending time with her two children and embracing the outdoors—whether she’s working in her garden or relaxing on the lake. She is also actively involved in her church family, where she continues to share her time, faith, and heart with others.

    Our Big-Hearted, Bold, and Occasionally Hilarious Dental Assistant

Anita’s journey into dentistry started with a fill-in position at Culp Dental back in 2016—but lucky for us, she returned full-time in 2020, and we’ve been smiling ever since. With nine years of experience in dentistry, Anita was drawn to the field because of her own commitment to oral health and her natural love for working with people. Dental assisting became the perfect fit. What Anita enjoys most about her role is building trust with her patients and helping break the old stigma around going to the dentist. With her by your side, the dental chair suddenly feels a lot less intimidating and a lot more personal.

Anita also wears another creative hat at Culp Dental: she’s our in-house social media influencer and content creator. She works closely with our Business Operations Manager to develop and manage our social media presence, and her talent for photography is behind many of the photos you’ll find on our website. It’s just one more way Anita helps tell the story of who we are—both online and in person.

Ask her teammates to describe Anita, and you’ll hear: funny, bold, energetic, and driven—but that’s just the beginning. She’s also sympathetic, enthusiastic, and creative, gentle, compassionate, diligent, confident, hardworking, and always stays on task. Anita is the person who lights up the room while keeping everything on track.

A fun fact about Anita? She does incredible impressions – but don’t ask for an encore! Her talents Come on a whim and only once, so if you catch one, consider yourself lucky. Outside of work, Anita lives by the idea that life is short, so live for the day—a philosophy echoed in her favorite song, “Time” by Pink Floyd. She loves music, hitting the gym, and hanging out with her beloved cat, Yeow. And when it comes to her favorite spots? Taco Bell and Chili’s hold a special place in her heart (because who can resist?).

Kayla has been part of the heart of Culp Dental for 19 years—and counting. This was her very first job in the dental field, and from day one, she knew she’d found something special. Driven by her love of seeing people smile, Kayla takes pride in being part of a team that makes a difference in patients’ lives, one visit at a time.

As a Certified Dental Assistant, Kayla brings not only experience but a sense of care and dedication that’s hard to match. She’s passionate about what she does, and it shows—in her work, her relationships with patients, and the way she supports her team every single day.

Her teammates describe her as strong, dependable, hardworking, and charismatic. But the list doesn’t stop there—Kayla is also strategic, visionary, knowledgeable, helpful, kindhearted, caring, compassionate, reliable, motivated, trustworthy, and genuine. She’s the one other turn to for guidance, earning her the reputation of a mentor, motherly figure, and all-around steady presence. Oh, and don’t forget smiley—because you’ll rarely catch Kayla without one!

Rebekah has been serving patients as a Certified Dental Assistant since graduating from York Technical College in 2012. With a naturally calm and soft-spoken demeanor, she brings a quiet sense of comfort to every appointment, helping patients feel at ease from the moment they sit in her chair. Her compassionate nature and genuine kindness make her an invaluable part of the care we provide each day.

Rebekah is deeply dedicated to her role and finds joy in creating positive experiences for the people she serves. She approaches her work with intention and heart, always focused on making patients feel seen, heard, and cared for in a meaningful way.

George brings a strong work ethic and a calm, capable presence to the team. His ability to adapt, stay focused, and keep things moving smoothly makes him a valuable part of our day-to-day care. No matter how busy things get, he approaches each moment with confidence and a steady hand.
