The story
Two brothers, one family practice, since 1981.
It started with their father. Dr. Bill Culp opened a dental practice in Rock Hill in 1981. Charlie and Alex grew up around it — the chairs, the front desk, the patients who became neighbors and the neighbors who became patients.
Both sons grew up in it. Charlie became a general dentist and took over the family practice his father built.
Alex trained as an orthodontist. He went on to practice orthodontics, and today sees patients of every age at Lume Orthodontics.
Then the brothers built a new building together. New location, new equipment, built from the ground up — and now the two practices work under one roof on South Herlong Avenue, Lume Orthodontics in Suite 101 and Culp Dental in Suite 102.
